What? Beginners Beware!

I'm not a beginner by any means but I'm always looking for tips and why not? That being said, if you are a beginner steer clear of this course. The instructor freely mixes "forms" with the names of chords. To a beginner the student should be asking how the heck is that an A chord? It isn't, it's the A form, not the A chord. He is all over the place. Yes I know what he means but sheesh, really? He should always be saying this is the A form of C, not this is A. No it isn't, it is still a C major, I don't care what form you use. Also an A7 is not an A, it's an A7! If I was a beginner I would throw down my guitar in a whirl of confusion. YMMV.
