Product Overview
U-He has a star on its hands with its virtual analog powerhouse, Diva. Join synthesizer star Sami Rabia as he shows you all her secrets, and teaches you how you can make Diva shine in your own projects!
Sami begins with the initial layout of Diva and then explores the oscillator section while demonstrating how to activate FM, Cross Mod, and Sync. Sami then reveals Diva’s filters and covers Diva’s envelopes and LFO section.
After the basic sound creation tools are explained, Sami shows you the different play modes available along with demonstrating why they are there. The trimmer section, amplitude, and panning controls, as well as going into more details about stacking the oscillators to make Diva sound absolutely huge are all explored.
Next, Sami walks you through how to use the arpeggiator, along with visual guides on what the arpeggiator modes are doing to your MIDI performance/notes. Then he teaches you how to use the modulation sources available in Diva, and how to take advantage of the luscious effects available.
After the plug-in has been thoroughly covered, Sami ends the series with five videos on designing your own sounds in Diva. You’ll see how to make huge pads, fat basses, sizzling leads, cool FX, and evolving arpeggiated sounds which will make Diva your goto virtual analog software synthesizer!

I'm finding this very helpful
I'm only part way through it, but I've found myself referring to it, replaying parts such as the part about the Trimmer (sounds like a lawnmower!) while making some tweaks to an existing patch.

Good for beginners to synthesis and a general introduction to Diva
Full disclosure; I'm an advanced user with many years of experience in programming synths, and have already worked in Zebra for years. I normally make film music, and use synths on a regular basis. For me this course was just scratching the surface, and didn't really cover anything I wouldn't get from the manual. It could be a great course for someone new to synthesis AND new to Diva. It's not the best course for either. But if you just bought Diva as your first synth but have no idea how everything works, then this is for you. Otherwise - just read the manual :) And for Groove3 in general. I really wish there was an option to speed up videos!

Too quick for beginners, great for experienced users.
This guy has clearly got extensive knowledge in sound design and tends to go very quick not really explaining what he's doing. Very hard to follow unless you can already confidently apply the fundamentals of synthesis. Modulation examples aren't explained and the routing is very confusing if you don't have experience.

Difficult to follow because you can't see keys input
I found myself confused in a number of sections because I couldn't tell whether I was hearing a result of movement on the keyboard or within the synth. This video needs to be updated with a view of what's being played.

Very Good
This tutorial helped me understand Diva's more advanced functions better. And the instructor actually has an ear for good sound design which is uncommon in many other tutorials. Well done!

Excellent Tutorial
This tutorial seems to cover all the features of this amazing softsynth. It goes a little further than that by walking you through the creation of several typical patches.

Essential viewing!
This series thoroughly covers Diva's features and also provides a lot of insight into analog synth programming tips and techniques. Even if you think you know a lot about subtractive synthesis this is a must see.
