Answers I hoped for in Superior Drummer 2 private lesson
I have owned Superior Drummer 2 for several years and just used the stock NY Avatar kit default settings in Reaper. Recently I added drum triggers to an acoustic set so it was time to really learn the product. Scott delivers instruction in a very direct manner, no fluff to wait through. He covered every aspect of SD2 that I had wondered about in the past. I had been frustrated when going to drum forums online for answers. For some reason drum forums aren't the best place to go for explanations, many friendly helpful drummers are there to help but for some reason they don't like providing the amount of detail or backstory I needed. Scott delivers both in spades.

Great content, tiring tutor.
In general the content is great, but the tutor has a very individual presentational style, which gets a little tiring after a while. On top of that he keeps repeating even the most basic tasks forever (for example: routing each and everyone of the 32 busses).

Not very informative at all...
Not very informative at all... Way too much "look-how-easy-this-is!!" instead of practical step-by-step procedures and options

Well Done for Non-Drummers
Scott does a very good job of explaining the myriad of options available in Superior Drummer 2. I like that he repeats some of the features such as how to change knobs and other settings with a more refined approach. He has a light approach to explain the features, which is a nice contrast to some serious instructors.

Fantastic Tutorial
You people have some great reviewers, but Scott Grigg takes the cake. Uptempo southern cowboy is how he comes across and the delivery keeps your attention and makes it fun. I took three days to go through this series to both savor the experience and to let it all soak in. If you have Superior Drummer 2, this is must watch; if you are bored, watch this and it'll perk you up. Some of the installation videos are dated because most people will be downloading and installing instead of using DVDs.
