Very Insightful!
I feel greatly empowered not only in the sense of utilizing effectively T-RackS, but also with the rationale behind the design and purpose for each module in general. I see now the importance of apt tracking and mixing. My favorite lesson in this series is that when using an EQ, one can't effect change in one tonal aspect of a mix without compromising another aspect of the mix within the same frequency range. Thus, ensuring that all musical elements of tonal balance should be addressed much further up-stream before the mastering process. I just wish there were more dramatic examples rendered in this series to show how to "fix a mix". The tracks that the author used were almost nearly perfect from the start, yet I "got it" in regards to the purpose of mastering effects.

Great Intro to T-Racks and Mastering
I have T-Racks Custom Shop but I'm uncertain which modules to purchase. This tutorial gave me a better understanding of many of them and some I had not considered. In addition, I received an excellent tutorial about mastering techniques. I appreciated the honesty about modern mastering techniques that do not always provide the best listening experience.
