VocalSynth is much more than a vocal processor; Sami shows you how far you can take a drum loop.

VocalSynth is iZotope’s new twist on the vintage vocoder, and in this in-depth video tutorial series computer music guru Sami Rabia teaches you how to make it sing! Learn it inside out as well as how to get creative with VocalSynth to create both classic and cutting edge new sounds!

After showing you around VocalSynth’s GUI, Sami instructs you how to set up VocalSynth and access its presets. He then demonstrates the pitch correction parameters, and all four vocal processors and their powerful sound shaping capabilities.

In addition, Sami expands on his tour of the parameters by exploring the effects section of VocalSynth and guides you in sound design, showing you how to effectively combine unmatched sources using its processors and effects, and that you’re not limited to only processing vocals.

Even if you’ve never used a Vocoder before, or if you’ve already got iZotope VocalSynth and want to get the most out of it, don’t miss “VocalSynth Explained”!

Getting to Know VocalSynth with Ease

I am so glad that I signed up for Groove3. I've already gone over a couple of the other iZotope products that I recently purchased and these tutorials are opening up a myriad of possibilities. Thanks to the team, as well as the instructor on this vid, for making the learning curve way easier than a manual would.

Good overview and practicales examples

Overall a good training. For it help at least become familiar with the knobs. Although they could be self-explanatory, with every new software the pletora of knobs and features makes difficult to take the first step into learning it. Anyway, VocalSynth is highly optimized from this point of view, so I couldn't complain. In the beginning of the training, it was unclear how the signal flow goes when SC button is active. Still unclear for me. The routing of VocalSynth in Ableton Live I found it cumbersome. In Cubase it was different, I would say more straight forward.

excellent Most excellent

I just went on this tour of ear candy inspiration/titillation. It's a gem of a plugin shown off really well. So well I,m confident about using it myself to create similar manipulations. Every adjustment/module/parameter was activated, evaluated, auditioned until an attractive combination presented itself through minimal tinkering by a gifted tweaker. Brilliant.yeah I wanna do that......
