Product Overview

Matt first gives you a quick look at the entire console, followed by How to Install the UAD Apollo 2 Console Software and Drivers. Then he dives into the specific views offered by the Console Software, starting with the Overview View and then explaining the other Sectional Views.

Moving on, you'll learn how to integrate the Apollo 2 console with your DAW. From there, you'll discover the new UAD plug-ins available to you with the new software. Finally, Matt finishes the series with a video on How to Use Aux Sends and Create a Cue Mix.

Rated 0.5 out of 5 by from So much missed... So much was glossed over or missed in this course...how to customize view, how to use virtual channels, in some cases he simply listed what you are seeing on the screen and didn't explain. The only reason to watch a course like this is to get deeper information than you could get on your own. Pretty Disappointed.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by from To the point.... Quick, concise, videos that get you up and running quickly. Perhaps a touch more signal flow wouldn't have hurt, but doesn't take away from this series.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by from Helpful Being new to UAD products I wish it would have been more in-depth than it was. It was helpful though in helping understand some routing issues.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by from Good level of detail, lots of tricks and tips exposed. Instructor does a good job of covering all the features. I watched the course for review, as I have used the console before. I was pleasantly surprised that learned a lot of new shortcuts and additional functionality I didn't know existed..

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by from Good for Console 2 - lacking Apollo Twin Console This is excellent coverage of the Console 2 for the regular Apollo interfaces. I have an Apollo Twin, however, and the software is slightly different. Would have been nice if this had addressed these differences.

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by from Poor... Like others said....I didn't learn anything that I already knew....If I get a video like that is because there are stuff that I still to know about it....definitely not here...

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by from Got more info from free YouTube Video It's the first time that I'm disappointed with a video from Groove3 Usually I get all the info I need from other video but this one is poor at best I got more info from free YouTube Tutorial. I learn NOTHING from this one
Date published: 2016-08-20
Rated 3.0 out of 5 by from Missing important chapter All this info is fine but readily available elsewhere. But one thing I can't find anywhere is info on how to set the Apollo/ Console up with a piece of outboard gear like a reverb. I have a Bricasti and I haven't made it work.... That would have made all the difference, it would have made this series stand out. Please add it if you can, it would be a most welcome addition.

Rated 1.5 out of 5 by from Lacking Useful Info Like others have already said, I have seen this info explained better on Youtube. This video is slow and redundant. What I really was hoping for was routing info ...like how do you integrate outboard gear? And setting up external clocking. I have a Cranesong HEDD 192 and I'm trying to figure out the best way to integrate it into my set-up?
