Good introduction
Doesn't go very deep, but as an introduction to the software and it's possibilities it's perfect. Great place to get the idea of what to look for further.

Quite a good overview!
I received Sound Forge Pro 11 as part of the Samplitude Pro X3 Suite and was not certain what I would do with it, since Samplitude is itself such a powerful and versatile piece of software. Now I see many use cases for which the best tool would indeed be Sound Forge! I definitely recommend this one for other owners of Samplitude Pro X3 Suite. Highlights are the reusable effects chains, the reusable window layouts, the sample and loop editing tools, the Sample Rate Converters and Mono/Stereo mode converters, the many editing tools, playlists AND cut-lists, great metering options for mastering, powerful restoration tools and CD burning tools. NOT covered that I wish received some attention was the advanced CD tools like ISRC inclusion, the surround tools (including Dolby Surround exports), and the other media burning tools. But this course got me rolling and comfortable with the program, so - five stars from me!
