Product Overview
In this video tutorial series, Reason wiz Dave Askew reveals the new Players in Propellerhead’s Reason 9, with both break down of all the features and functions, as well as creative uses.
Dave Begins at the beginning, with an overview of what the new Players are, and what they are for. That leads directly to an explanation of how they are integrated into the Reason rack.
The Dual Arpeggio is up first, and you’ll learn all about the interface, and witness all of its creative potential for adding motion and life to your parts. Next, Dave shows you how you can use the Note Echo module to multiply your MIDI notes for some wild rhythmic and cool effects!
Dave now explores the Scales & Chords player with an in-depth look at its interface and features, as well as how you can use it to lay down chords with a single finger!
Now that the basics are covered, Dave shows you around the Players Toolbar, where you can load multiple players, and then it’s time to get even more creative. You see how to stack multiple Players to create a one-touch orchestra, and how you can save your sounds and your player toolbars for later recall and customization.
The new Reason 9 Players are cool tools you can use to create new sounds and parts in your songs. Learn how to use them now, watch “Reason 9 Know-How: The Players” today!

Unbelievably useful and v good value for a short course
Should have started on this early on my Reason journey ... short, simple but really effective, but I wish I'd watched this early on. The players are SO useful, if you know what to do with them and how to link them together. Watched the whole set in one session the first time, then went back to specific tutorials to get the most out.
