I will say this series is WAAY more helpful, insightful and organized than anything I've gone through on YouTube, but I do feel that there is a lot more going on with this controller that just kind of gets glazed or skipped over in this series. There were a few features where he just kind of says, 'this is button does this, see?' but doesn't explain HOW or WHY it does it or when you might practically use it. Kind of the old, give a man a fish or teach a man to fish proverb. This series throws you a lot of fish, but in many ways fails to TEACH you how to fish. It's a bit short in length compared to many tutorials on Groove3 so perhaps with a little more time, it could have gone into more depth on each element of the controller, like WHY it's included and when you might actually use it to create, as opposed to just telling you WHAT it does. All in all, this is still the best explanation of the NV I've seen, but having spent some time with this controller myself previously, I know there is much more that can be said/shown in regards to what it can do. But for a 38 min series, it serves as a great intro to what you can do with this controller and I definitely learned some new and exciting things about it. Also a solid performance example at the end that ties it all together fairly well. Would love to see more from this, but all in all, 4 out of 5!
