Good overview of main features
Good overview of the main features and a nice best practice at the end of the lessons. These lessons do skip a few of the advanced features that most people will never need anyway. Descriptions and explanations are very clear and easy to follow.

It's Eli, so you know it's damned good.
I upgraded to Melodyne Studio 5 without having used it in a good while. So when I opened it to use it I was full on deer in the headlights and completely clueless. Eli brought me back up to speed in spades and I'm more than back to where I used to be. A couple quibbles on things left out, in spite of my 5-star rating. One very important use for me is tempo map extraction for things not performed to a click track. I know that the export of a MIDI track with the tempo information embedded is that way to do this but it is not shown. The other thing lacking is the Clip Mode which on my Melodyne is between the Track Mode and Note Assignment Mode while opened in a DAW. I will have to dig into the manual to find how to do both these things or look on YouTube. Other than that there is a wealth of information in these videos and I can't wait to stop writing this and dig in.

Still cranking out good, solid tips
Eli’s tutorials hark back to my earliest explorations of Melodyne and I was glad to see this first-out-of-the-gate series on the latest release. Aside from a few editing details I wish had been attended to (however, I recognize this is a features showcase and not an editing session), I found this comfortable and helpful territory. If there is a part 2 Advanced series in the works, I’ll look forward to more insights.

Better than Celemony's tutorials
I love the way Eli Krantzberg explains things. It's ordered and sequential. First this simple thing, then this more advanced technique, then this tricky thingy. So you build a foundation first. I've learned more in one night than I learned in a week at Celemony. I'm not saying Celemony's tutorials weren't helpful, but at times I felt I was watching an ad for what Melodyne is capable of doing, whereas Eli shows actually how to use it.
