Different, but great!

This was more like a TV interview than a guitar lesson. However, Les is such an amazing person that it actually makes for a better video. There is some great concert footage, (He would've been in his late 80s, early 90s!), some guitar and music theory, as well as some amazing stories about all his inventions.... too cool.

Les Paul RULES

Sat down to watch this at about 12:00am, after playing my guitar for about 4 hours. Normally, I'll watch a movie as I am tired of the music thang after a long session in the studio. Whoa! This is one of the coolest things I have watched. Not in the normal "tutorial" way... it's more on the inspirational side. Guitarist? Keyboardist? Bassist? Drummer? Watch it man. Totally awesome.

Les Paul the greatest.

LOVED it, you see him playing in the club, see old TV shows back in the day. My favorite chapters are 7-8-9. Les explains his techniques for recording back then, <example> Mary Ford (wife) and Les recorded 24 tracks but.... "one" mistake and you had to start all over (lots of humor here). Also Les explains some of his inventions (with a lot of humor). If you're a fan of Les Paul or a guitarist, you're in for a treat.
