Product Overview

In this Hal Leonard video tutorial, The Guitar Play-Along video series teaches you to play some of the Beatles' biggest hits written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney on acoustic guitar - Just watch, listen and learn!

Each song starts with a lesson from a professional guitar teacher, giving you an overview about the song and artist. (Lesson)

Then the teacher performs the complete song along with professionally recorded backing tracks that include on-screen guitar tab, in both a standard front view (View 1) and a helpful "over the shoulder angle" (View 2) which gives you the perspective of how it would look when you're playing it.

Lastly, there's a 4th video for each song with tab, that gives a play through without the instructor's guitar, so you can play the part yourself with the professional backing track! (Practice)

The songs featured in this video tutorial series are some of the Beatles' most recognizable songs, including And I Love Her, Can't Buy Me Love, A Day in the Life, Eight Days a Week, Help!, Michelle, We Can Work It Out, and Yellow Submarine.

See why John Lennon and Paul McCartney are noted as being some of the most influential songwriters of our lifetime, and play these songs today!

Spot on!

I've always been a huge Beatles fan. Anyone whose played their songs knows that Lennon & McCartney used very simple to advanced guitar chords. Personally, I've struggled trying to find the correct chords to some of their songs. Thanks to this awesome Groove3 tutorial... problem solved. The instructor is "spot on," and does a fantastic job of displaying the correct way to play these songs.
