Introduction to the course with an explanation of what will be covered.
Here we start things off by synthesizing our own kick drum using Sytrus, and we see how to adjust different aspects of the sound.
Now we continue making a few more kick drum samples with a variety of different properties in Sytrus and the Sampler.
In this video, we create our own snare drum sample and tweak it to our liking.
We continue making some varied snare samples with a few cool tricks to make the sounds unique.
Here we make a synthesized tom-tom drum sound that can be edited further to get even more samples.
Now that we have our first sound, we will make a few tweaks and create a set of pitched tom samples.
In this video, we synthesize and samples a few open and closed Hi-Hat sounds.
With our understanding of how to make our hat samples, we take it a step further and make a few crash cymbals.
In this video, we synthesize a few samples to be used as effects, like noise sweeps and "whoosh" sounds.
We continue our effects sampling with the completion of our "whoosh" sample and also a spacious reverse crash sound.
Here we create a few more samples, such as a very deep 808-style boom and a saw riser that is great for building tension.
Now that we've made all of these cool samples, let's create some loops that will sync to any tempo for use in future projects.
We wrap things up with some info on how to get our new samples in your FL Browser and a few closing remarks.
