Good, but a little amateur

I was hoping for some tutorials that went into being creative with modification to drum samples/layering. Definitely a good instructor with good lessons, just felt the series could have been trimmed way down. Making just these stock electronic sounding kits from scratch isn't really useful for modern composing.

Response from :

Hi there, so sorry you were looking for other types of info from this series. Also, thanks for your kind words about the instructor. This series is definitely aimed at the beginner who is new to FL and the concept of making their own drum sounds from scratch, which is why Tyler took it slow. :) As far as the drum sounds themselves, there are obviously so many different genres out there that Tyler just went with the basic staples of electronic drum sounds, which can be the starting point for more complex or genre specific tones. Thanks again for your input, we really appreciate it. Have a great day! - Your Groove3 Team
