Techno and Trance music are next, and you’ll learn about what makes these genres stand out on their own, followed by Modern Aggressive EDM and its hard hitting elements.
Tyler then looks at Hip Hop influenced EDM, such as Trap, and how it has roots in Hip Hop and how it has spread to other electronic and rap genres as well.

Great overview
Its a nice overview over different styles and their history and not an in depth tutorial on sound design etc. But for what it is its great! I liked the authors style of presentation and his variations on the base song sounded amazing. Not the usual 0815 tutorial songs. Recommended.

Very Briefed
The Author is very knowledgeable..Yet he forgets that this is a tutorial video.. all his knowledge is rushed and seems to be just showing what he can do..not how is he is doing it..Learning is a process.. What he calls tedious is what the learner needs

A bit lightweight and generic
It's always useful to see how someone layers up a track, and this has some great sound design tips, but I don't think it goes any further than that. The 'Exploring' part of this never really goes that deep, and I personally didn't learn anything new about the different genres. Good as a beginners introduction to different styles maybe, but certainly not essential.
