Rated 5.0 out of 5 by from Keep this as a reference This is a super useful course that you can revisit any time when mixing, and use as a reference, in case you are not sure how to approach a certain element of the track for example. I also enjoyed his lesson on the Fletcher-Munson curve as well as EQing to Pink Noise. Definitely a top class I'll be revisiting time and again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by from Great series, not an intro to EQ, it goes much further than that Wow, this series really surprised me in a positive way. First I thought, "another EQ basics tutorial". But it is certainly not that, it assumes you know the very basics of EQ and it builds upon that.

The series is a mix of different EQ related topics which are all very useful and gave me new insights.

What I mainly like is the analytical way everything is presented. Instead of saying "method A is better than method B" he also shows with examples and spectrograms why that is actually the case. Very good!

I can really advice this series to anyone that knows the very basics of EQ! Even if you are not using Ableton, because most of the things are about EQ itself and not about Ableton in particular.
