Speed freak
Good series , but the first half was difficult to absorb , and was like the presenter was on speed. Note ; I am a Pro Tools user watching this series as I am considering Cubase for composing .., and would like to also learn / reference from this series as I watch it should I end up buying Cubase , rather than unnecessarily Pause-Rewind-Pause-Rewind all the way through - a more relaxed pace could have achieved this in the one sitting. Another negative IMO was : in the first hald of the series it felt like someone edited out out all the breaths /pauses his spoken sentences. My brain felt like it was ping-ponging around inside my skull trying keep up with the rapid fire info Overall an OK series , and points off for rushing the first half .;)

Excellent as usual
I have purchased most of Dave's Cubase tutorials since I began using Cubase. His "8.5 explained" is, as usual, a great piece of work. His explanation of the new features are right on but you have to go through the course a few times because he moves just a little faster than my 61 year old brain can absorb. I hope he comes out with another course that goes into a little more detail such as how he had Sony loops added into his Media Bay. Either way I will still follow any more tutorials offered by Dave in Groove 3!
