Excellent!
I have tried other Cubase tutorials and Dave Askew is a much better presenter/instructor than any other I have experienced, even those provided by or recommended by Steinberg.

Great coverage of Cubase basics when coming from other DAWs.
The technical content and presentation were well done. My only (repeated) complaint is that when I pause playback to try out some of the examples, if I don't come back and push "Play" soon enough, the playback freezes, and I have to reload the page, and try to remember the timestamp of where I left off. In a learning environment I believe the student should have ample time to explore the concepts without worrying that the training interface is going to "freeze".
Response from Customer Service:
Glad you like the Cubase videos! There is no reason from the player standpoint as to why you couldn't play from where you left off unless your browser recaches drops the session before you get back to it.
If that happens, simply use the history option in the player (dropdown menu, History) and jump right back to the exact second you left off.
I hope that helps you and everyone else!

Spot on!
I was upgrading to Cubase from using the old version of SX3 and wanted to know the basics of the newer version. The level of detail and attention was perfect for me. I wanted a real 'dummie's guide' and this what the course achieved. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of Cubase if they are not familiar with the program. Thanks guys for a great course!
