Very Good
I picked up a good few tips that I did not know This was very helpful

Too basic
The lesson only covered the basics that one can glean just from messing around with the program. For a lesson about a specific part of Cubase, I expected more in-depth detail. And the monotone while describing the basics was excruciating. Like being told how to walk by putting one foot in front of another, but also having the action of the ankle minutely detailed, when what you need is directions to the bus station, and what is at which stops.

Good Introduction to Cubase !!!
Even if I considere myself as a advanced Cubase-user I could learn some really nice little detail here and there. Cubase is such a complex programm and it is not possible to inclued every feature in such a video course. But Gary Hiebner's selection is a good choice. I think this series give you a good start to this DAW. But there is one chapters that should be reworked - the video about comping: "Nr. 4 Audio Comping with Audio Takes" Without using the hand-tool (the comping tool of cubase!) this video doesn't make sence.

Misses many shortcuts and more advanced features. It's really for beginners only.
I was hoping this would get deep into truly advanced audio editing, but it's simply a general overview that misses many advanced functions and also doesn't show how many things can be done faster with key modifiers, shortcuts and other commands. Kenny Gioia is the guy to beat for these videos -- he moves fast and shows you things that really speed up your workflow and go into advanced territory.
