Worth every penny!
I'm on my 4th year subscription to Groove 3 All access pass-I can't imagine living without it.! It is like having a personal instructor get me through almost every plugin and piece of equipment I own. I have mainly used it for this reason, only to find hundreds of video lessons on drums guitar piano and more. I would recommend this to all my musician friends. Worth every penny!

Amazing value, life changing
I was looking for an out of print Bruce Swedien book when I found Groove 3. I couldn’t believe I could access the book digitally, complete with all the video resources that had been on DVD previously. Between the music theory books, sheet music books, and countless, hyper-specific tutorials, it’s a no-brainer. I could easily spend thousands at a music store with what I have access to from Hal Leonard and other publishers. Any musician or producer remotely interested in improving should subscribe.

I liked the training on Cubase. Then, I wanted to learn how to use Kontakt. I'm lazy ... well, let's say busy. I don't have much time, not enough, to spend on learning (important) tools like this.
Wow!
That's the key. Using Groove3, I learned. And was entertained.
Today, I tried the one about VALVES. --> Superb! I only looked at the "overview", and already, I know I will watch the whole thing.

I really want to like Groove. There is a ton of seemingly great content on a lot of subjects I'm interested in. For some reason though, whenever I sit down to choose something to dig into, I find it difficult to pick something or find what I'm looking for. It's hard to explain but is similar to analysis paralysis.

Besides learning the latest software there is a treasure trove of instruction on guitar, keys, bass and vocals
I subscribed to fill in the gaps of my knowledge of software I use from IK Multimedia.
Then I started looking at the older but excellent tutorials on slide guitar which led to me discovery other instruction videos such as blues finger picking. It's interesting to get lessons from people like Andy Summers.
While doing that new tutorials of interest have been popping up such as Kontakt 7 Explained which I'm thinking about upgrading to.

I've used Groove3 off and on for years. During that time I've watched their online library and instructional sessions grow beyond my expectations. I'm currently doing a deep dive into a secondary daw software I have and I'm able to use it somewhat expertly after watching the full "explained" session. So many courses to learn from here. Best advice - get the all access pass and use it. Remind yourself you will not treat it like the dusty exercise bike in the corner - use it and grow.

My preferred system - excellent
I have used Groove 3's All-Access Pass system on several occasions now,and for me it suits my educational needs very well. I am a musician and record my own compositions in a DAW with several plugins both instrumental and FX. Groove 3's library of courses is useful in covering much of the software I need to get to grips with. The time I save teaching myself is cut to a fraction using the courses. The courses and tutorials I've made use of are of high quality, structured in a logical sequence with knowledgeable tutors providing the demonstrations and teaching. They are actually a pleasure to use. On occasion I have bought courses outright for those subjects that I see myself need to make reference too for a long period of time but for the rest, 'All-Access Pass' is the preferred way to go for me. Highly recommended.

I received my first year of Groove3 All Access Pass for free as part of an iZoptope product promotion, and I loved what it had to offer. But, I am very ashamed of myself ???????? for not even using it for nearly 80% of the subscription period. Months went by and I never logged in. When I realized what I was missing, I signed up for another year (with an early bird discount). I love the video series, books, and tutorials. I haven't discovered yet if the Groove3 Pass has any mobile options. I am always blown away by the sheer volume of titles. It makes me look like a weenie compared to others here, with respect to audio and music knowledge. At times I feel like I need some schooling to understand what they're saying. I am going to endeavor to take deliberate advantage of my All Access Pass and really learn how to use all the audio software and plugins I spent my money on. Thanks. ????????

I'm a Reason user and benefited from a bunch of other VST manufacturers' videos here, so your experience may vary. May be just what your looking for
I was very impressed with the easy layout and quality of the videos within the lessons on offer. If you are someone new to music production save yourself the YouTube search and fimd time, get your feet wet all in the one location. This is a great starting place it has some easy to follow tutorials for beginers and intermediate alike.
My only issue going forward would be the depth and progression of the lessons available. If for instance you are interested in Learning about Reason 12, there is a handful of lessons and alot more which needs to be added to make it a one stop shop. This goes for many of the programs on offer. I feel if they could provide a good resource of begginer to Advanced courses it would be a much beter value and would have a much longer engagement.
For the reasons I mentioned above I would not see myself continuing the monthy subscription. On their own the cost does not entice me enough as I could on the most part find similar tutorials on youtube.
AGAIN A GREAT RESOURCE all in one place. Well organised and produced, just a lack of depth....

AAP - Not A Cost But An Investment!
I got the All-Access-Pass when I bought some software and enjoyed using it. However, it really came into its own when I purchased Komplete 13 by Native Instruments and with scores of plug-ins available, I was a bit overwhelmed. In my search for knowledge (I got into music production using different DAW's as a result of lockdown), I have tried different knowledge base and learning resources, and got a one month free all-access-pass with a purchase of a virtual instrument and have found this all access pass basically all important and will be renewing my pass subscription to one year when the one month issue I currently have runs out, as it allows access to all courses, with the option of buying a course allowing you to download for off-line viewing.

I have been using Groove3 for almost 2 years now and have found it to be an excellent resource. The "explained" videos go into detail about all the controls, options and menus and will give you all the information you need on how to use your gear or app (answers "what does this thing do"). Other videos go into detail on how to do things however finding out "how" to do exactly what you are trying to do may take some work and referencing a few different videos.
My suggestion for improvement would be on making searching for specific information a bit easier. Right now it takes a bit of work sifting through the search results to find what you are looking for. Another suggestion would be the ability to flag or tag videos for easy rewatching. For example if a video covered a topic I was interested in but not what I was working on at the moment it would be helpful to flag, tag or bookmark that video so I could watch it later or when I needed to review that topic.
In general I have found Groove3 to be very helpful and my "go to" for much of the information I am looking for.
Also, thank you very much to all the content creators and editors I really appreciate all your hard work!!!

A great music and recording resource
I have been a member of Groove3 for many years and it never ceases to be that tutor at my arm. Whilst simple tips can be picked up from websites, YouTube for free, Groove3 gives that bigger picture support.
The instrument tutorials are super too. Many are dated from the days of VHS but the content is still golden.
All in all, it is an excellent resource and one that I have recommended many times to others.

I am well over 50 and did not grow up with computers. I have regretted buying a DAW system at times because of the learning curve. I am beginning to come out of the darkness with Studio One. Groove 3 offers well-crafted tutorials from knowledgeable instructors. The courses are of overall good quality, with considerable planning clearly put into them. I hope Groove 3 will keep expanding its library so that the subscription maintains its value. I was hoping to see more courses on core music subjects, such as composition and arranging in the classical and traditional jazz forms, for instance. Hopefully Groove 3 will move in that direction. At any rate, overall a five star. Highly recommend.

I can do new changes and upgrades with confidence now!, I can access the tools I've purchased individually, to learn specific actions to preform for specific effects. it gets that learning curve right there where it's acceptable, and it's become second to none for reference. I was so overwhelmed, because my tools needed a major upgrade, and a great deal of them had new toys I knew nothing about. I'm a musician as well, not a trained engineer, so you see new tools but don't always have a common frame of reference. or know how they're applied. with the all access pass, I can look at the use of the tool in the recording environment, and get specific uses, and tips. I'm learning new skills that are bringing all of my old tools to life too, with new knowledge of what they can be used for. I have spent hour after hour in the past on google, you tube, etc. trying to find information, on getting a certain sound or effect, the approach with learning the effect of each tool is much more profitable, and I LEARN what the tools can do, leavening me choices I didn't even know I had before!. I spend more time creating, and less time experimenting with unknown parameters, now when I experiment, I know exactly how I'm affecting the sound, I've learned more in just a week, than I have been able to scrape up over the years, and I put countless hours into it. I have the knowledge, to go with the tools now. and that makes the tools 1000% more useful. finding it hard to see how I got by without it really. and there's info on my DAW's instruments, VSTs, effects, updates, from several manufacturers, all in one place. I feel like I've gone back to school, but only have to learn the specific tasks I want to use, making it a pressure free experience, a pleasure not a task. I recommend groove 3 to anyone who wants to take their sound to the world class level.

Great learning resource for music and music software!
The program content is great, very well organized, and easy to follow. I do wish the Groove3 apps were updated more, as the Apple TV app and iPhone app don't let you access saved videos or favorites you've added from the website. Overall though, it's a great way to quickly learn without having to read entire user manuals for all the products.

Lots of good material about electronic music production. Not much at all on actual acoustic wind instruments. Site seems aimed primarily at the DAW and virtual instrument user. For that it has an extensive selection. If I had one suggestion is would be to offer a selection on the videos page for a more comprehensive set of tutorials covering the full range of topics. There is no real comprehensive approach to learning the full range of topics needed to master electronic music production and this would be useful rather than searching through all the various titles and categories. A guide would tell the student to "watch these titles first" and then progress to "these VAST titles" and finish with specifics on "these mixing and mastering techniques" for example. Still the annual subscription is the most cost effective way to watch multiple tutorials on this site.

Tutorials are great but the browsing experience using the Apple TV app is poor
Overall the tutorials are great, there are many I had purchased already as downloads. There does seem to be a bit of overlap between some and I would also like to see some updated (eg the Bitwig one is still on version 1). Although the main website is well organised ideally I would like to browse from my TV using the AppleTV app but here the browsing experience is much poorer so I'm hoping this feedback will prompt an update. What it needs is a) a search engine, b) more ways to browse than just by category (and for categories to be sorted alphabetically and given a bit of a cleanup as they are rather disorganised), c) a favourites function like in the website browser, d) all products to be listed (I can't seem to find some that are on the main site, although it is possible that is just because of the browser being harder to navigate with), e) it would also be nice for my recently viewed items to be synchronised between the website and the AppleTV app. Score for browsing largely reflects this since I would prefer to use the app for convenience but just wish it worked much better.

Bought so much software over last few years but didn't have time to address their functions. Bought the all access pass to mitigate my laziness. Went to Output video course first and was distressed to see that the Arcade Interface was either an older or newer version. Hard to follow when the onscreen example differs from my updated copy. I think updating the videos, as the company does, would make this problem go away. Searching for controls, buttons, functions etc is taking twice the amount of time than having the same version as the onscreen example. PS Commentator needs to slow down considering this issue. Hoping, as I move from app to app, that I don't run into the same issue.

I've been using Groove 3 All Access for years, but especially this year I've appreciated it more than ever. I've learned to watch tutorials all the way through even if I think I know something well, there's always a tip about something I missed. I find an All Access Pass useful in ways I didn't think to start. If there's a product I'm thinking of buying I watch the tutorial on GRV3 to give me the flavour. Also if I'm going to be working with somebody who has stuff I don't, I'm up to speed. OK honestly I also simply geek out......better than social media to fill the mind. I'll leave reality to deal with the body and soul which hopefully people who listen to my stuff do then same. Peace out, be safe, be real.

Where else can you find this level of well produced, structured and targeted instruction? Not many places and not at this price point. The variety and depth is quite impressive. New content is added regularly and is very current. Not all the instructors are as dynamic as you might like but isn't that the case in any educational endeavor? I recall so many professors that were, at best, boring, and yet they still had a lot to offer. Get past it, work through it and be rewarded. Knowledge is power and freedom. Find it here!

After years of music learning and trying some other similar companies I vote Groove 3 the best hands down. Tony has replied always for support within very short periods usually 24hrs. The contributors are seasoned and some of the best around. Best of the best. Eli for example has been doing this a long time but has gone from great to most excellent! Many others have become my favorite teachers on the web. That is a feat. App is very backwards compatible. Content is updated more often than most others. Groove 3 has the experience and passion to rise above the rest in my book. DAW series are great and lots Soft Synth tutorials. Nothing but praise and smiles here on this review

Can't Be Without it!
I am a long time fan of Groove3 and they only get better. We a new version of my DAW, plugins are released, Groove3 immediately has a new video to explain the updates. This allows me to quickly take advantage of new functionality. In the past couple years they have expanded into instrument courses and more. It is really a one-stop-shop for training.

I consider myself an 'experienced beginner' in Ableton and somebody that has exhausted YouTube and other online sources for tutorials. I was considering signing up for a course through one of the well known online music schools, until I saw a recommendation for Groove3 on a random blog. Since signing up I've been hugely impressed with the range and quality of the material on offer. The courses are detailed, well paced and delivered by experienced pros. I've learned a tonne in a very short space of time, and still have a wealth of stuff lined up to get through over the coming weeks and months! Groove3 is a must have resource for any aspiring producer and the 'All Access Pass' is incredible VFM. Awesome work guys!

Need a download/cache option for these tough times.
There needs to be a cache video option so us poor musicians can download over wifi at work or the coffe shop and view at home later. You should be able to make a "container" within the app for subscribers that lasts a week and then deletes the files like Netflix, HBO, Hulu etc...can only be viewed inside the container. Please allow playback through tethering, Samsung Dex PC etc...

I'm a new Groove3 user, and I've just finished binge watching ''NI Studio Drummer Explained''.
I've been using NI for years and I'm very familiar with their Abbey Road drums style interface. The videos unlocked a few features that don't seem to be in the products user manual. Also, the videos helped me re-explore some features that I may have brushed over.
I've recently purchased an iZotope bundle and I'm looking forward to viewing Groove3's ''explained'' tutorials.

I received a 1-year all access pass when I purchased my Izotope products. I didn't even know that Groove existed before then, but immediately started using it.

An education truly on par with SAE Institute of Nashville..
In 2005, after I graduated high school I moved from metro Detroit all the way down to Nashville to study audio engineering at the SAE Institute. At the time, that was by far my closest and best option for a high-quality education.
While the education I received was great, to this day I really do not feel like it was worth $40k (plus interest - student loans will get you). It wasn't very specialized, all of the other students that enrolled for courses around the same time that I did were lumped into 2 classes (about 20-25 people per class). One morning class, one evening class. While we weren't "in class", we had assignments to work on at the campus or at home. There was a curriculum and we all had to pass it in order to graduate.
We came from very different walks of life, but we all shared one thing in common. All of us had independently decided to pay for a higher education to learn audio engineering / music production. But we all had VERY different aspirations. Some of us aspired to build and operate our own music studios. Some of us hoped to get internships to work through the ranks at one of the several high profile studios right there on Music Row. Some guys were more focused on learning production because they were in a rock/guitar-based band and they felt like the knowledge would help them get to that next level. Others had never picked up a guitar in their life but wanted to become more well rounded hip hop producers.
My point is this - I would estimate that AT LEAST 50% of the time I spent in class or working on projects either on campus or at home was time that I basically wasted. I had a clear vision of what it is that I wanted to learn and what I wanted to accomplish. But I had to adhere to the exact same curriculum that all of my other classmates had to adhere to. The teachers were great, I made a lot of friends (some that I still communicate with to this day), but it was definitely not worth $40k +.
If you are motivated and you have a clear idea of what it is you want to accomplish and what you need to learn to get there, you would be MUCH better served using Groove3. Honestly, if I could go back to 2005 I would have saved my money, stayed at home and done it this way. The teachers in these videos are just as knowledgeable and helpful as the teachers I had at SAE. I sit and take notes and pause the video frequently to make sure I understand every line of information. You can even learn the fundamentals here, too. There's an entire litany of videos about signal processing.
Instead of using that $40k + to pay for a formal education, I would have been a million times better served using that money to start building my dream. But in high school it was drilled into all of our heads that unless we went to college, we would be working at McDonalds until we were 80. The world has changed. That's just no longer the way things work. The people who are successful are the people who are willing to go all in. You can't win or lose if you're not even in the game. Groove3 gives you all the tools you need to get things started.
Take my word for it, hopefully somebody can learn from my example. Save your money and get a Groove3 subscription. If you don't have the internal fire and the motivation, going to an obscenely expensive audio production school isn't going to provide that. If you do have that drive and motivation, Groove3 is by far the best option for you. Can't believe I'm only now learning about it in 2020.

I love the All-Access Pass. It gives me the ability to pull up instructional videos on any of the software I happen to be working with and get a demonstration of how to do what I'm trying to do. I just record as a hobby, and sometimes I may go six months or a year between projects. I tend to forget some of the software functions during those lull times. I am very satisfied so far. for $15 a month there's a huge amount of training on most subjects. I would recommend this site to anyone, newbie or pro that either wants to make music their career or just a better fundamental knowledge of what they're doing.
My one and only gripe is my favorites don't transfer from watching on the computer vs watching mobile. I also cant figure out how to favorite an entire program vs one single video on the phone so that's part of the problem too

Wide selection of good quality videos, but let down by poor ipad app.
I've been a All Access pass user a few times over the last few years. The video quality is very good as is the selection of topics. New videos are regularly being added. Videos cover the main points you need to know and stick to the topic without unnecessary padding. Main let down is the iPhone/iPad/AppleTV doesn't sync viewing history and favourites with your website viewing or between app platforms and is now quite dated

Best Music Instruction Ever!
I've had Groove 3 All Access for a while now, and it is so incredibly helpful to have so many video libraries of all of the software and gear that I use in my home studio. I don't have a pro audio background, I never went to audio engineering school or anything like that, but Groove 3 All Access has given me a tremendous understanding of the tools that I use for my own home studio needs. I have learned all the in's and out's of PreSonus' Studio One 5, iZotope Neutron, Nectar, and Ozone products, Native Instruments Maschine MKIII, and more. It has definitely helped me become a better mixer (and with Ozone 9, now a master-er!) and I couldn't recommend it enough. The libraries you get access to are worth way more than what you pay for it. Plus, I got some free plug-ins for subscribing, and who doesn't love that? If you're on the fence about this, but there are things you want to learn more about (specific softwares, hardwares, or even general mixing/mastering/recording tips), I guarantee you'll learn everything you want to and then some. I can't recommend this enough!

Concise and to the point tutorials, well structured and fluid, makes it addictive and inspirational. The site flows even with a not so great internet connection, no issues, easy to navigate, no distractions, and the video player is simple and efficient to maintain you focused. I'm in love with Groove3, the efforts they've put on make this is notable, I don't know about other platform with this quality, and they have Kenny on their Team! What more could I ask for? Content is great, but user experience is quite bad.
Great content, no question about it! Now, the video player lacks basic controls, like being able to skip forward or backward by pressing the arrow keys. Another annoying thing is the screen going all white when transitioning from one video to the next, especially when watching at night or in a dark setting. Please fix the UX stuff and you'll get five stars.

I've only been listening to the course on Dorico so far, but this course is really well done. It is broken into reasonably short segments, maybe 10 minutes or less, and the teacher is clear up front about what will be covered, presents the ideas clearly and concisely with emphasis on what is most useful, and has a nice summary at the end which not only repeats the major points but adds helpful suggestions as he goes. Really nice job. I hope the other courses are equally helpful (I could use help on Cubase, for example). I only wish there were more courses available on synthesizers like the Yamaha MOX, MOXF, MODX, Motif, Montage line.

I came across Groove 3 by accident. I was browsing to find anything that would help me learn the ins and outs of home recording and some of my Toontrack apps and this seemed to offer me all that I needed. But then I spent some time going through the rest of Groove 3's content. What a revelation! It's crammed full with useful stuff. It may even help me to become a half-way decent guitarist. It's not possible to come back to a series you start watching. If you don't watch all 4hrs in a row, you'll lose it. No bookmarking. No memory of what you've watched.
Content isn't what I've been looking for either. I know how to read manuals. I know what "eq" is basically. What I want to know is the models and strategy behind when and how to use it along with ear training. Couldn't find. What I found instead are videos of presenters doing what they do with little or no explanation.
"Compression"... started off talking about analog circuits. I'm only 57. I'm not old enough to have worked with analog equipment. My entire lie has been dedicated to engineering the digital domain. Analog modeled digital is for people who can't move forward. Tell me about pure digital.
But it doesnt' really matter because I couldn't find that series again when I tried to continue watching it.
Not useless, but highly disappointing. I find comparable material on YouTube.

Very good price for quality
The price of all access pass is quite low (around 2 packs of Camel cigars) and you get a lot in return. The only thing I would change is an issue with the player. If you pause your video and leave it like that for a while, when you return it gets stuck and you are forced to refresh the page and the video starts from the beginning not from the point it was when got stuck. I did not tried on another browser so maybe is browser related not groove3 relate.

This review is for the all-access pass, but my main experience is of one video series, "Reason 10 explained." I had purchased this series before realising there was an all access pass on offer.
I liked the look of Reason but had been floundering, trying to find my way with it. This course was first class from the start, working clearly through every detail of the software in logical order. My struggles were lifted immediately. So realising there was an all access pass, I purchased this with no hesitation. This quality of help saves countless hours of guesswrok / trial and error.

Comprehensive and yet easy to learn
Actually I am not a friend of video tutorials. Either you get lost in details or you are just scratching the surface.
The videos here are of a comfortable duration and well structured content/topics. They teach you in detail not loosing the overview.
It's even not boring to see again what I already know as it's always kept in an interesting context.
And the above is true for all the many different products/tutorials I watched.

Fantastic quality of videos
I'd like to get a much better handle on music production using Ableton live, Native Instruments etc. I've taken a monthly pass to review the content and have picked out a few which I plan to purchase in the next few weeks but I expect to get more in the coming year. Great for those getting back into music production
I was in a band in the 90’s that did pretty good but those days are gone and I needed to get back into making music I love. Naturally there’s been some changes but Groove3 has all the classes I needed to educate me on the programs I use and saved me money on letting me scope out programs I thought I needed. The Logic Pro X tutorials are very well done. Just a note and thought - I think that in the exuberance of the presenter he tends to talk too fast and go too fast. I sometimes have trouble following where he is clicking or what he said the key combination was and therefore have to go back quite a bit. Otherwise, very well done.

I only review things I really like.
And this is one of them.
I got the $15 monthly pass to learn about compression eq etc which was going for $30. I was thinking I could learn what I needed and then cancel, saving $15.
As soon as I got access to everything else I knew I needed a year pass which I got for $99.
I’m a drummer. The nuggets of information in the Levon Helm course are worth $99 on their own. Moving the emphasis from bass drum to snare drum and back. I’d never heard it explained like that.
I just got Harrison Mixbus, it’s there. Guitar courses in DADGAD, DAW templates, Reaper, etc etc etc. It just goes on and on. So far each teacher has been excellent. Focused on actual teaching rather than being “cool” or promoting companies. Pure teaching in order to share knowledge. I teach drums so I’m sensitive to that aspect and can assure you it’s spot one.
I’m so actually happy to have this in my life. I have an actual spring in my step.
Can’t commend it enough.

I love this way of learning. I have so many products, and instead of buying more I can actually learn to use the ones that I have. I prefer the all access 30 day pass because go on a learning binge between songs and actually try some new plugins and techniques and get excited about producing again.

Good videos, Good place to learn Studio One
I'm trying to learn Studio One at the moment, then on to Ableton Live. The instructor in the videos for studio one does a really good job at explaining how Studio one is laid out and what everything is used for. I'm not quite halfway done with this series but the daunting task of trying to learn it, hasn't been so daunting. :) If the videos to learn Ableton are as good as The Studio one Videos Then A++

Just a few days passed since I got my yearly subscription. The are a lot of interesting things to dive in and for sure more to come. I wish some content is more updated. For example the full course of logic is from 2013 and even they have videos about the new things the main content is old and even the look of the application and the operating system changed a lot. Said that, I am very happy with all the content very specific and great for me that I want to learn composing and orchestration.
The iOS app need some update too for iOS 13 and new devices resolution.

Just a very rich service. I wish they had a NLE section with a few things like Resolve/ FCP etc. I think they should branch out into video, so much of my work now is "multi-media" where I need to step outside an audio platform. There are of course other places to get this info but Groove just does a great job of presentation.

I've been with Groove 3 since their beginning, I believe. To me it's like another piece of equipment in my studios. No matter what you're doing or working on, you always run into questions. Some piece of software or hardware is updating, changing or you just haven't used it in awhile. With Groove 3 at your side, it's just a matter of logging in and finding the product and you'll find the answer and get back to work. Groove 3 also has a reliable and comfortable interface, making the flow quicker and easier. The instructors are very knowledgeable and engaging, they leave very little unsaid. And with the Annual Pass, it's really cheap. At what point when you need an answer now, would you not pay $9 for an answer? They always have a sale sometime during the year and you can get the annual added to your account for $99. That's actually less than $9 a month. What a deal!!!

I can always learn something new and as an added bonus this is also my go to source for information on subjects I need to know more about. I’ve had Groove3 for the last 3-4 days, and I am in love with this program! I knew it had instructional videos on DAWs and whatnot, so I thought it would be super helpful in learning Ableton and my IZotope plug-ins. I can sit there and watch these videos all day, they’re super helpful and informative.
Then I discovered that they also have e-books on piano playing, ukulele, guitar method... and I was hooked! Definitely going to keep myself subscribed here for a long time, it’s worth the money and then some.

I'm no sure how I came across this site,but I can tell you I was excited when I found it. I saw several instructional tapes from my early days n music and could not believe you could access any and all of them for $15.00 a month. Many courses are long out of print and would be very hard to find

If you’re really interested and you’re still deciding about getting the subscription I can asure you that its completely worth it, I was doubtful at first but I took the risk and Im glad I did there is so much knowledge and a lot of fundamental material plus most them instructors are certified, they have a huge library with the latest plugins and they explain every parameter in a really simple way...

Groove3 is a great stop for people that want to start learning on how to use all types of different music programs or plugins. Although I consider myself semi-pro, for me, I still feel like a beginner because I never stop learning.
I have been using Akai's MPC 2000XL hardware for years. I still carry a floppy disk lol. I feel like I have been hiding under a rock sometimes because technology is always changing; therefore, I purchased FL Studio and a controller called Akai Fire. And because I was stuck under a rock, I had to use Groove3 to update myself as a producer.
I hope that Groove3 gives us a tutorial on the Akai's Fire controller. There is a lot of buttons on this thing hahahaha.

As an amateur musician learning to play keyboards; write my own songs and then record them - the Groove3 All-Access covers all my needs.
I use an Apple iMac and LOGIC ProX - my needs are fully catered for and I am not having to spend hours trawling the internet for the knowledge I need.

Absolutely high quality content and only great tutors here, and for all levels..
I started here by brushing up my daw skills with Kenny Gioia and Tyler Coffin covering Reaper and FL Studio respectively. And the midi orchestration and books, etc...
I really would pay more for all this content.

I am a life-long learner and I am very appreciative of Groove 3. This group brings me valuable inside view points of music software and tools that are constantly changing. I certainly cannot keep up with this information myself and honestly wouldn't know where to look. I am not just looking for info on my own collection but what other offerings might be. The production values are first rate and the instructors are concise and clear. If I want to go more in depth there are other sites but Groove 3 keeps it fresh and on-point.

It's there when you need it!
The All-Access Pass is another great go-to tool if you are immersed in all aspects of music. When you need information working on a project, whether it's new software or something you forgot, it's there when you need it! Not having to searching YouTube, or waiting on tech support saves time. I use it at least once a week. I can get ideas on software functionality before buying, or will read a book. The cost of the All-Access Pass is well worth it and won't break the bank!

I like almost everything with Groove 3. My one complaint is that when I'm following along with a great instructor, it's my duty as a student to go off and try the ideas out, so I pause the video. If it takes me (for example) five minutes, no problem -- I click the "play" button and continue where I left off. If it takes me longer than some threshold (is it ten minutes?), I go to click the "play" button, and I'm ejected back so that I have to start the video over again, and then try to remember where I was. Does it really have to be this way? I've asked about this in a more direct "customer service" email approach, and it sounded like you guys might do something about it (maybe 12-18 months ago), but it's still the same frustrating pattern. I remember being told it had something to do with something like not wanting to have too many connections open, or that it took extra processing to keep each user at their current position, but really... isn't there a checkpoint or bookmark type thing that could be implemented? That's really my only complaint. Great work otherwise. But I really don't like that part :)

I have subscribed for many years and really like the tutorials available. Being primarily tuned into Logic presentations I like them overall but wish they were more like they used to be with different Logic presenters. Eli Krantzberg is ok but I liked some of the other presenters better. A mix would be nice. Thank you

Love the Groove 3 site. I have learnt so much from the extensive collection of music videos on offer. Excellent content and well explained/ easy to understand presentation they have taken my understanding and know-how forward immensely in the last 12 months. Upwards and onwards!! Would appreciate if videos could be made compatible for viewing on large screen TV's though as I have a 65" screen that I sometimes would appreciate being able to enjoy watching on, but only minor niggle.

I'm a pianist, but very intrested in making songs once in a while. I own quite a large arsenal of VST's. The video lessons on Groove 3 cover a huge range of what I own. They offer an in dept overview on how to use and the capabilities of the programs. They allow you to discover new stuff too. Surplus : training video's on real playing and instruments. I'm now into my second year of using the All-Access Pass. It's a great toolkit for learning whatever new item I just purchased. Yet it has even more value for previewing and evaluating things I may want to buy.

I can't believe value I get from my $100. This is the best money I ever spent on my advancement in audio knowledge... this is cheaper than many plugins, cheaper than most DAWs, cheaper than keyboards, computers, outboard audio hardware, yet the skills contained within this subscription far outweigh the value any of the far more expensive items I listed here! If you're on the fence about getting a subscription like I was.... don't hesitate... just do it... I wish I'd done so two years before I did.... this really is a no brainer. 95 % of the questions I used to ask in groups and forums, are now answered in this subscription, but I get videos showing the how, and the why, instead of just the what.

Recently I felt that the new "Mix Review" episodes are just fantastically helpful to me. I wish the list of products covered would include EVERYTHING though. Helped me through questionable times.
Been with Groove3 for about 5 years. Can't say enough about them. I purchased many downloadable tutorials and then went with the yearly subscription. Highly recommend the subscription to watch anywhere but just logging in. I keep this close to my home studio for reference on so many DAW's, plugins, software and hardware issues that you forget and need that reference. There are some outdated tutorials that shouldn't be still available, but they keep there words and have he available 24/7/365.

When I started off with my subscription I knew so little about DAWS, whenever I would log on It was as if I was trying to decrypt an ancient language. Thanks to Groove3, I am now onto more advanced topics and navigate my DAWS with ease. I took a Recording and a commercial music composition course at university and we were to only use Logic Pro X. I quickly began the "go to guy." This was only made available because of Groove3.

The quality of the content is amazing. The teachers are nice and overall it's just gonna take your skills to the next level! It would be nice though if we could download the videos for offline viewing through a Groove3 app for Android or iPhone. Will make the long commutes interesting.

Best thing I've done for ME in a long time.
When I bought the Izotope plugins and was researching how to use them, I discovered Groove3.com. That has made my use of the plugs much more successful, so I've now watched more videos, spiffing up my skills on my DAW, recording process, use of compressors - the list goes on. this has been an excellent choice for learning about daws, also having the apple groove 3 app for the tv i've looked at numerous other online tutorials, and none are as up to date as groove 3, particularly with garageband with its latest incarnation, had looked at **site name removed** for garageband but their material was so old, different interface , and a review said the app for the tv was very slow,look forward to using tutorials for ableton and akai.

What a resource!
I am trying to learn Cubase but decided to sign up for the all access pass so that I could take their other courses too. I am really impressed with their knowledge and the quality of their courses. I can't say for sure but I would guess that you can get an education here for peanuts compared to the thousands and thousands of dollars that a school like Full Sail would charge. I have loved music all my life and have been involved in helping run our local community radio station for 10 years and with this program I can finally learn some of the technical things I have been wanting to learn all this time.

What a tremendous app. Groove3 has so many choices that it is hard to know where to start. There are hard to find titles and classes that I have wanted to purchase for years, but were no longer available except maybe on VHS. But here they are!! I have a few months off work so I am planning on doing some home recording of my sisnger song writer songs. I find groove3 to be an invaluable learning tool. In addition to learning theory (like understanding compression and EQ or constructing a home studio for example) I can watch walk through videos on how to use my programs Cubase 9, Guitar Rig 5 and Groove Agent 4. i am also reading one of the books on production theory and the format for reading is surprisingly easy and intuitive. I do wish there were more videos for instruments, especially guitar. Thanks and Good Job.

'Jazz theory explained' gave me some new insights. This is a good one. Overall there is not a lot in the jazz category. I was surprised not to find any jazz guitar instruction video's, except one with just licks. I was also hoping to find a video about mixing traditional jazz (not fusion).

A great source of music related information
Groove3 has a beautiful website - maybe just a little cluttered at times - and the content makes for a great source of info and often, a source of inspiration too. The only addition I would consider (if possible) is to create searchable "how to" tags, for those who are searching information on a specific topic (ex how to use EQ, how to select a mic, how to connect this or that, etc). It may seem unnecessary, but since this is an "all-access" pass it still makes sense that the viewer is enabled to search the vast data base for more specific subjects, which may be mentioned more than once, by different presenters, in different videos. Just food for thought - and this would be quite an original approach too, since there's no other "online-tutorials" website that offers any such possibility (non that I know of). Groove3, for me, has the potential of becoming the no.1 destination for musicians seeking specific knowledge. It's already great, and this is why I believe it can become "ground breaking" too. Last but not least, maybe you'd like to consider creating "interactive test-sheets" at the end of tutorials: this would make everything more effective, because it will rekindle the information the viewer just listened through, and compel him to "pin it down"... Great job already, though. Thank you, Groove3!

From the videos I have watched so far, this is really good. I've found that all the videos have been very professional and well thought out. My only criticism so would be that a couple of the videos (for Waves plugins) spend too much time on downloading, installing& authorising the plugins. Maybe a single, generalised video for this would be better rather than including in in each of the plugin videos.

If you are a DAW user and also a musician, I think the All Access Pass is undoubtedly the way to go. I'm a protools user and also a guitarist / pianist / vocalist / songwriter. There is a lot of stuff on Groove 3 I'll never use or even watch, but there is certainly enough essential material to keep me busy all the time! The quality of the videos and presentation is usually superb. Balanced against buying individual downloads, if you have more than a handful of programmes you want to watch, the AAP is the best choice.

Long version:
When I started producing I was first watching video's on free providers of such kind of tutorials. (you probably know where I am referring to but I do not want to name any other "competitors")
However, I soon discovered after buying a couple of courses on Groove3 that these payed courses really have an added value. Three important points for me are:
1. you are more or less sure that the information you get is right and usefull and can be trusted for correctness when watching on Groove3
2. the video's on Groove3 are to the point, and you do not have to watch all kinds of side-talk you often get in free video's.
3. searching for good video's is not so time consuming anymore when watching on Groove3. On free providers of video tutorials there is maybe much, much more content, but it contains a lot of video's you better not watch to learn anything from. So it takes time (and knowledge which a beginner does not have!) to filter out the "bad video's of low quality".
I am not against free content providers / video's, but before watching them you should know from who you are getting the information from. Is it valid what you hear? As a beginner, you often cannot judge whether something is completely wrong, nonsense or maybe actually right. If you completely build up your knowledge from the free content providers, you have to be very critical and it will cost you much more time, because you really need to search carefully for valid and useful video's.
That is why especially for beginners it is important to subscribe to something like Groove3 in order to make sure that you start with the right information/knowledge.
First, I bought a couple of single courses on Groove3, but if you are planning on buying more then soon you will discover that an all-access pass is more value for money. Also, you can buy these passes during a sale which makes it even more value for money.
Furthermore, I already extended my current all-acces pass in a sale before it ended. By doing this, I do not lose any "acces time" because the bought extra year is added to the end time of the current active pass and not to the actual time of buying.
So even if money is a bit of a problem, you can get acces to Groove3 in a relatively cheap way buy buying an all-access pass always during the sale.
At the moment, I already watched a lot of content but I see a lot of new interesting content added every week and I cannot keep up with watching it. This is not a problem, it gives me something to look out for and also confirms me that this all-access pass is really worth it.
To conclude: I can really recommend it, especially when buying a pass during the sale for at least a year.
Furthermore, if you are a beginner then getting the right information from a site like Groove3 is even much more important. If you are a beginner, I can only say: do not buy that plugin you want, but save your money for a subscription on Groove3. In the end, this will be worth much more, than plugin x or y.

Lots of Contents, Lack of Accesibility...
TL;DR: Huge Amount of Good Videos, But Poor experience on finding what I want.
I'm considering cancelling the subscription if there won'be any progress regarding these...
- No Curation based on user's watching trend(for example: 'tutorials you might interested in', 'tutorials similar to this', 'tutorials from this author')
- No syncronization of watching history & progress across devices
- No Background Audio-Only Playable iOS app(has bugs & compatibility issues, worse than mobile web)

The best value option. Take what you need in your own time.
I soaked up the whole Ableton course in under a week, huge saving! However I will continue my subscription due to the vast amount of content I can cherry pick from using this purchase method. Highly recommended. You'll always get you money's worth. There's no chance of purchasing a course you find you don't like. You can concentrate on information that is relevant to you and your skill set.

All-Access, all the time, be all, end all.
I think this is my third year re-upping with All Access. I suspect I simply can not do without it. All Access lets me look at whatever I want. Not just what I HAVE but what I might be thinking about. Watching training videos can show detail not evident in vendor stuff. Well worth the coin. I can watch on my primary workstation, my tablet, my smart phone... yeah baby.

Great value for money - there is a wide range of material available and at $15 per month for unlimited access, with pay as you go, you can't go wrong. Best tutorial service available
Groove3 has made learning a new product as simple a watching a series of videos, unlike youtube where you have to watch videos in random order, Groove3 is a sequence from beginning to end. You learn things that you didn't even know to search for, this way. Great job Groove3.
The only thing I would like to see change is the availability to save videos for offline viewing similar to youtube red.

A lot easier for me to pay a yearly fee than buying individual tutorials. Now I can watch whatever whenever. If your get it when it's on sale (usually around Christmas) you can get it for $100.00

Very thorough
The only thing I have issue with is having to pause all the time to make sure Im doing things correctly. Also I'm not sure why, but in some of the logic pro explained videos, some of the key commands don't work on my system. Other than that, very helpful tutorials!!!
