Great overall, could be even better with minor improvements
Good series overall, although I wish he would have gone into more detail on when and where you would use each oscillator and filter type, as well as combinations of oscillators and filter types. I also wish he had started each sound example by letting you hear it, and then explaining why he was making each change along the way, instead of building it up and only finding out what the sound is at the end. I also would have liked to hear the sounds in the context of a mix. Finally, it would be nice if all the sound examples in Groove videos were included as presets, or at least a printout of the recipe. That said, he was clearly very knowledgeable, the examples were useful, and there were some cool tricks he shared.

Good course helpful to learn basic synthesis!
This course showcases every component of the plugin, the accent of the narrator is a little funky but perfectly understandable. My only gripe (and that is why I only gave this 4 stars) is that the plugin itself lacks a few very basic things that a soft synth should have (like LFO to envelope modulation or oscillator detuning) and unless you know what you are doing you won't know since he doesn't mention it. Overall this is a pretty good and helpful tutorial.
