Indispensable tutorial of VE Pro 6
An excellent explanation of a potentially complicated piece of software. Eli nails it again! VSL builds some of the best sample library software on the planet but it can also be daunting to learn how to use it fluently. With this series of tutorials, Eli sheds a bright light on using VE Pro 6. An invaluable resource, I've already revisited many of the episodes and will do so again, I am sure. Well done!

Eli was a very good instructor, and his tutorials are very educational. I've wated the Vienna Ensemble Pro ^ Explained, all the way through. Now I'm ready to review them all over again because after watching the first time, I was able to take note of what I need to focus on specifically. I haven't been able to find such great details in this subject matter at all on the internet. thank you!
This review and instruction have been invaluable to me in regards to getting up and running with VEPro 6. Also, it has great potential for helping me to become a POWER user with this software.

Vital info from Groove 3 for VE Pro....
Can't praise this enough. Eli Kranzberg is his usual excellent self with detailed explanations and great shortcuts. I couldn't have set up VE Pro without this series as VE Pro can be really very confusing at times and Eli really makes the learning curve less steep. I am now running very smoothly and I'm very happy with VE Pro in my system. Highly recommended for VEPro beginners.

Pretty great -- just some issues if you're in a DAW besides Logic.
This one moves fast and is very pro, which I really appreciate and enjoy. Unfortunately there are some things that will leave you scratching your head if you're in another DAW that isn't Logic, which is what he's using here. One example is MIDI routing to multi-timbral instruments in VE Pro from Logic...I just can't figure out how to do it. He shows it in Logic, but Cubase is very different in how it handles multi-timbral MIDI, so I had to ask in a forum to find the answer.
Response from Customer Service:
This tutorial's focus is on VE Pro 6 and so the lessons can apply to any DAW.
Anyone who has trouble with the workings of their DAW, please check to see if we offer training for that software in our category listings. Just click Videos, Category, DAW and then choose the DAW of your choice like Cubase.
I hope that helps!

Really great!
Fantastic explanations, very clear and useful, straight to the practical point. But could explain more about mixing in Vienna or Logic, or should final tracks be bounced to audio. Great value, useful and systematic, thanks for great video lessons! :)
