Audiolens Explained

iZotope's new Audiolens plug-in allows you to capture any audio playing through your computer - even streaming audio - and use it as a reference in Neutron or Ozone's assistant feature quickly and easily. No more buying CDs or digital downloads required; just stream a song on Spotify, YouTube, etc., capture it, and away you go! In this free(!) iZotope Audiolens video course, production whiz Larry Holcombe will show you exactly what you need to know to start taking advantage of this game-changing technology right away. These videos are for new Audiolens users.

Videos
Introduction & Interface (05:13) - This video introduces the series and application and also outlines the different areas of the interface. We also discuss briefly the way that Audiolens integrates with Neutron 4 and Ozone.
Suggested Workflows (09:38) - We discuss and demonstrate the two suggested workflows using Audiolens next. This involves analysing a mastered track and creating a master chain using Ozone 10's master assistant based on this reference. Next up, we repeat the same process using an individual drum loop and creating a Neutron 4 track assistant chain based on a reference.
Comparing Tracks within Audiolens (06:21) - Finally, we recap a little on the application itself before demonstrating a way of using Audiolens to compare and contrast any track on your hard drive with any of your target list tracks.
