Do you have a great idea for a podcast, but you're not quite sure where to start? You've come to the right place! In this podcasting video course, Groove3 instructor Thomas Cochran will show you everything you need to know to get your own podcast up and running smoothly and quickly. From the gear you need to audio and video editing and more, you'll learn how to create a podcast that looks and sounds professional in no time at all. Introduction & Getting Started
Introduction, Gear, & Setup (09:24) - To start off the course, we take a look at what's needed to record and edit a video podcast and discuss what will be covered in the course.
Processing Audio
Simple Voice-Over Processing (15:52) - Thomas shows how to process the voice-overs using Adobe Premier Pro. Learn how de-essing, compression, and EQ are used to make a voice-over sound balanced and professional.
Advanced Voice-Over Processing (11:59) - This video shows how iZotope RX 10 is used for advanced voice-over processing. This allows for more detailed audio editing and noise removal.
Editing
Loading & Syncing Video (06:44) - Learn how to properly sync multiple video cameras and audio files all together so that you can quickly edit using Premier Pro?s multi-cam editor.
Rough Edit of Podcast (14:07) - Next, we make a rough edit of the podcast using the multi-cam editing tools in Premier. This lets you quickly make drafts of complex podcast edits.
Editing Podcast Pt. 1 (08:18) - We now dive into more detail with our edit and start finalizing the video and audio editing of the podcast.
Editing Podcast Pt. 2 (10:36) - This video wraps up the main edit on the podcast and shows how multi-cam editing lets you quickly edit around mistakes or pauses in you podcast.
Final Adjustments
Intro Animation Pt. 1 (09:03) - Learn how to make a simple intro animation for the podcast. This is useful for branding and provides your podcast with a more professional look and feel.
Intro Animation Pt. 2 (08:27) - This video wraps up the discussion on animation and shows how to add the newly exported intro to your main Adobe Premier Pro project.
Final Adjustments & Exporting Podcast (08:32) - To wrap up the course, we make a few final adjustments and show to properly export the podcast using Adobe Media Encoder. This video also shows how to export an audio version of the podcast.
