Videos
GrooveCell Overview (04:58) - Get a general look at the overall instrument and see how all the main pages and controls are laid out.
Loading Samples (04:37) - Learn how to load either single or multiple samples onto a pad. Also see how to set the trigger mode for pads with multiple samples to either a velocity split, round robin cycle, or to have them layered together.
Pad Settings (09:48) - Explore the per-pad control available in the Pad Settings section for the interface, including offsets for volume, pan, tuning, amp and pitch envelopes, lo- and hi-pass filtering, sample start and end points, trigger mode, drive and compression settings, sampler modeling, and sample note and velocity mapping.
Getting Started with the Sequencer (06:46) - Learn all of the basics necessary for putting together simple beats within the GrooveCell sequencer.
Advanced Sequencer Functions (07:36) - Explore unique ways to develop and vary patterns using per-row randomization, altering the number of steps, step playback direction, step duration, and more.
Working with FX (04:50) - Hear the global EQ, drive, compression, and send/return reverb and delay effects in action as a drum part is tweaked within a mix in real time.
MIDI Control (03:35) - Discover how to assign hardware knobs from your MIDI controller to easily control and automate either pad setting controls or global FX parameters.
Exporting (04:05) - Learn how to export GrooveCell data as a single MIDI clip, multiple MIDI clips corresponding to each pad, a stereo audio file, and the individual samples used in each pad.
Multiple Outputs (05:38) - See how to route the output of the individual pads to discreet outputs so that they're available as Aux Track inputs. By separating the sounds onto individual Aux channels, they're each available for independent processing using either internal or third party plug-ins.
Saving Presets (03:14) - Discover how to save and recall your custom presets and how to include third party samples using the Export feature for complete portability.
Putting It All Together (11:37) - Follow along as a drum part is created from scratch, including creating and exporting several sequence patterns, individual pad parameter editing, send and master FX tweaking, and more.
