Serato Sample Explained

Studio expert Larry Holcombe presents comprehensive video tutorials on Serato Sample! Creating Beats Using Serato Sample (13:35) - Larry creates a beat by chopping up loops using Serato Sample and re-playing in a part using those individual hits. This allows us to take hits from different places, mixing and matching them to create a new beat.
Adding the Sample (09:27) - To continue the track, Larry programs a groove with the sample and then create a B section for contrast. He also adds some reversed and pitched alternative samples to create a track arrangement.
Adding an A Cappella (11:51) - Next up, chop up an a cappella source to find interesting cues. These are then arranged alongside pitched variations to create a quick song arrangement.
Multi Outputs (03:13) - To finish off, Larry demonstrates the way in which you can route different cues to separate outputs, which makes mixing cues much easier.
