• The Interface (05:46) - In this first video, Larry gives you an introduction to the Retro Machines synth and also goes over the user interface.

• The Oscillator & Filter Sections (12:10) - Next up learn the ways in which you can manipulate and sculpt your raw waveforms using the Osc and Filter sections. The Osc controls allow you to create thicker, chorused tones and eq?ed variations, and the filter parameters allow you to sculpt the frequencies to taste.

• The Amp & LFO Sections (04:46) - Larry now covers the parameters of the Amp and LFO sections. The amp section allows you to tweak the sampled waveform?s attack and release times to widen the palette of sounds you can create, and the LFO can be adjusted to change the rate and shape of modulation.

• Adding Lead & Pad Sounds (08:00) - Last but not least, Larry shows you how to re-purpose the bass sound as a lead, and play a part 40 bpm slower, then speed it back up to the correct tempo. You?ll then watch how to add a pad sound by increasing the Filter Cutoff, and then use a negative envelope amount and a slow decay to create a pseudo filter envelope attack.
