Studio One 5 Updates Explained

5.2 Update
Live Rearranging with the Arranger Track (02:58) - See how the new Arranger Track sync mode settings are used for smooth synced rearranging of the playback order based on the Arranger Track sections in your song.
New Smarter Note Editing Arrow Tool (03:27) - Learn how to use the update Arrow Tool to edit note velocities, mute/unmute events, split note events, split note events and their part container, and glue adjacent notes together.
The Splitter Plug-In (09:25) - The Splitter is now a powerful mixing plug-in that lets you route multiple audio effects on a single channel either in parallel, serial, left/right split, or frequency band splits. Score Editor: Guitar Tablature (02:32) - Learn about the new tablature functions that are now available in the Score Editor when using a guitar based staff preset.

It builds on the key switch editor introduced in Studio One 5.0. Learn the workflow basics in using existing mappings both in internal and third party instruments.

5.3 Update
Musical Symbols & Sound Variations (05:25) - Learn how to assign and use musical symbols to playback sound variations.
Show Page Enhancements (01:43) - Drag and drop preset creation now works with effects and effects chains on backing tracks and real instrument tracks as well as Instrument tracks. And, When switching from one Virtual Instrument Player Patch to another while notes are still being held (keys or sustain pedal), these notes are no longer cut off while the new instrument is activated.
Other New Features (05:42) - Learn about the new convert and archiving options, new chord track enhancements, how to enable MIDI polyphonic Expression support for compatible instruments and hardware, how to enter dynamic markings in the musical symbols lane, and how to use MIDI channel changes as part of a sound variations activation sequence.
5.4 Update
Plug-In Nap (02:20) - This new feature improves overall CPU performance by not processing plug-ins when audio is not passing through them.
Time Ruler & Chord Display Enhancements (03:59) - Discover the newly added ability to set timing offsets based on cursor position, view current or selected chords in the Note Editor, use the Chord Tracks new large chord display, and assign the new function for inserting instrument parts from the chord track.
Export Multiple Formats & More Workflow Improvements (04:36) - Learn about the new multiple format export options, revamped auto save engine, plug-in manager improvements, manual blocklisting of plug-ins, generating diagnostic reports, additional HD frame rates, the remove all sends options, and new Apple M1 support.
5.5 Update
