Interface & Getting Started (09:10) - In this first video, we look at the user interface, inputting notes using MIDI and our cursor, and then changing velocity values for individual hits.
The Panels & Kits (08:09) - Now we look at the Basic, Control, Effects and Export panels in Captain Beat, as well as explore patterns and how to save them. We then investigate Kits and how we can mix and match patterns and Kits to create interesting and varied grooves.
Custom Kits & Arranging (02:30) - In this video, we cover saving custom kits and working with the sections tabs to enable Song Arrangements to cover our arranging needs.
Making a Beat Pt. 1 (08:47) - We now construct a beat manually by inputting notes, and then make some adjustments to create different alternative sections. We then export the master bounce for each section to outline this workflow.
Making a Beat Pt. 2 (06:04) - In this final video, we construct a beat using patterns, and then make some adjustments to create different alternative sections made up of different patterns. Finally, we export the stems for each section to outline this alternative workflow.

You'll also see how to build a beat using the extremely useful Foundational Rhythms to quickly generate a custom drum groove. Larry then outlines the new Import and Export functions for Captain Beat.
