Introduction (01:38) - Here we start our journey through Rob Papen's B.I.T., the powerful Analogue Modeled Synthesizer. We get a quick idea of what B.I.T. does and what it can do for you to get some awesome sounds!
Overview & Interface (04:09) - We begin by looking at and understanding the overall interface of B.I.T. and how you can control and navigate throughout its features.
The Oscillators Pt. 1 (10:53) - Any sound will start at the oscillators, and B.I.T. has some great ones that give us plenty of options to modulate and create a solid place for sound design to begin.
The Oscillators Pt. 2 (03:39) - Continuing through the oscillators, we look at the advanced panel to get even more control over how B.I.T.'s sound generation features operate.
The Filter Section (08:03) - Next, we take a look at the filter section, where you can start to carve out sounds in many ways for different sonic qualities and movement, especially by incorporating envelopes.
The Amplifier, Play Mode, & LFO's (09:17) - In this video, we look at B.I.T.'s Amplifier, where we can set the Envelope and also add some character to the sound with Distortion. Then, we look at the Play Mode and LFO sections.
The Modulation Matrix (05:50) - Let's now go through the Modulation Matrix, where you can assign the many controls to parameters to create powerful modulations of a sound.
The Arpeggiator (11:43) - Here, we look at the powerful built-in Arpeggiator, where you can program sequences of notes that move and play in very interesting ways, or that can even operate as a modulator.
The Effects (06:40) - Once we have a sound together, adding a bit of shine with some effects can be helpful. Here we look at the effects included in B.I.T.
Preset Management & Browsing (11:58) - After making presets, you'll want to save them and store them in B.I.T.'s banks. Here, we go over the process of saving, managing, and organizing presets by name, bank, category, and more.
Bass Sound Design (08:19) - To show the analog modeled power of B.I.T., we work out a solid bass sound from scratch with a Low Pass Filter whip.
Lead Sound Design (10:46) - In this video, we work our way through some lead sounds from simple to complex, leaving you with some excellent sound design tips and ideas along the way.
Pad Sound Design (11:06) - Now see how to make an Epic Pad sound that is full and evolves using all the sound design concepts we've gone through in B.I.T. thus far.
Conclusion & Review (03:50) - To close things out, we have a quick review of all that we've seen in B.I.T., and wrap it up with some thoughts and possibilities for future use of this great virtual synthesizer!
