Boz Digital Labs +10db Bundle Explained

Boz Digital Labs have managed to do something very special with their +10db EQ, Compressor and Channel Strip plug-ins. Let studio wiz Eli Krantzberg show you all about them and what these meticulously modeled plug-ins can do for your mixes and productions!

Videos
The Equaliser Section (04:06) - Discover some of the unique features of the +10DB Equaliser section.
The Dynamics Section (04:15) - Explore the basic functions of the compression, expansion/gate, and limiter controls in the Dynamics section of the plug-in.
Preset Handling (01:48) - Simple and intuitive internal preset handling make it easy to save and share custom +10DB presets in different plug-in formats.
Snare Drum (06:02) - Hear +10DB at work on a snare track as the EQ is used to remove a bit of low mid tubbiness, and add some crispness. Gate mode is used to minimize some of the bleed, and the compressors attack and release characteristics are explored.
Kick Drum (05:52) - Listen as two instances of +10DB are used serially, one for EQ, the other for Sidechain compression.
Room Mics (04:14) - Hear the +10Db at it’s extreme as it is used to enhance the room sound of a multi mic’d drum recording by driving the compressor hard, with very quick attack and release time constants. The EQ is then set up in side chain mode to tame the harshest of the room resonances.
Drum Bus (05:19) - See how +10DB is used to subtly enhance an already relatively well balanced drum mix, and how the A/B snapshots are put to use to audition the effects of two different processing setups during playback.
Vocals (04:17) - Hear how the Equaliser section is used in side chain mode to tame sibilance on a lead vocal track.
