Logic Score Editor Explained

Presented by Apple Certified Logic Trainer Doug Zangar, "Logic Score Editor Explained" reveals one of Logic's most elusive, yet powerful features, the Score Editor. If you use Logic and need to know how to create and compose in traditional music notation, this series is a must have.

Getting Started
General Concepts (05:41) - This introductory video explains the general concepts of how and why to use the Score Editor. Basic manipulation of notes and graphics as well as displayed parameters and printer set up are looked at.

Window Overview
Global Signature Track (09:00) - This video shows setting up and using the Global Signature Track for time and key signatures. Add, edit, copy, paste and delete are covered.
Global Chord Track (09:04) - This video shows using the Global Chord Track to generate chord symbols from a MIDI part in the score window. The Global Transposition track is looked at, as is the Define Chord window in the Score Editor. Both tips and caveats are discussed - it’s not a perfect system.
