    1. When did you start dabbling in music?

I was about 4 when my older brother started a band and my house was the 'band house'. I was pretty much hooked from there. Got serious around 13 or so.

    2. What training have you had?

I have been blessed to have trained with many great teachers from high school and college music teachers; theory, guitar, piano and vocals to private voice lessons with some of the finest voice and guitar teachers. Some of my favorite voice coaches were Nate Lamm (Brian Johnson, David Coverdale, Lionel Richie), Buddy Mix, Gina Moretta (Steve Perry). I also studied guitar with Paul Gilbert (Guitarist for Racer X, Mr. Big) and Bruce Buillet. I have also studio music mixing and production with Ryan Williams (Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars, Staind).

    3. When did you get into recording?

I was in high school when I got my first cassette 4 track and evolved into an ADAT studio in the 90's and today I have full commercial studio with protools HD and an SSL 6048 E|G+ mixing console.

    4. People you have worked with/for?

American Idol GLEE, Andrew Lloyd Webber, 311, The Veronica's, A Fine Frenzy, The Smashing Pumpkins, Matt Sorum (Guns And Roses), Chelsea Handler and Disney.

    5. Why are you so good at training people?

I think I was a born teacher. My dad was an amazing leader and mentor and he kind of drilled it into me. I teach from a place of being a singer first, then coach. Meaning much of what I've learned I learned from years of touring and making records as an artist not just book stuff. I think for teaching voice, which is an invisible fretless instrument it helps to really know your own personal instrument before you can teach it. I still sing, last year I did a stint of singing for the band Nazareth.
